FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • It is a popular form of permanent makeup in which a small needle injects pigment behind your brow hair to define your natural brow shape. This tattoo technique resembles brow makeup, and the effect can be natural or bold based on your skin type and preferences.

Ombré brows are dark for the first few days and heal 20-40% lighter, also depending on your skin type. They’re waterproof and smudge-proof. Because we don’t go as deep in the skin as with regular tattoos, your results will last 1-3 years.

Unlike microblading — where a blade creates hair-like strokes in the skin — ombré brows are versatile and can be done on almost every skin type with minimal trauma.

  • 1. Consultation:

    • First, I sit down with you to discuss your brow goals and preferences. We talk about the shape, thickness, and style you're aiming for.

    • I carefully examine your natural brow shape, facial features, and skin tone to ensure the tattoo complements your overall look.

    • During this conversation, I address any concerns you may have and explain the process in detail, including aftercare and touch-up appointments.

    2. Brow Mapping and Color Selection:

    • Using specialized tools, I map out the ideal shape and symmetry of your brows based on our discussion and your facial structure.

    • Together, we choose the perfect pigment color that matches your natural hair color and skin tone, ensuring a harmonious and flattering result.

    3. Tattooing & Numbing:

    • Now, let's get started with the tattooing process. I'll begin by doing the first pass and carefully tattooing the outline of your brows, following the mapped shape precisely.

    • Once the outline is complete, I'll apply a topical numbing cream to the brow area to minimize any discomfort during the remainder of the procedure.

    • Throughout the tattooing process, I'll ensure you're comfortable and relaxed, and I'll take breaks as needed.

    4. Aftercare Instructions:

    • After the tattooing is complete, I provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to promote proper healing and long-lasting results.

    • I recommend avoiding water, sweat, and sun exposure on the treated area for a specified period and advise you to apply healing ointment regularly.

    • I'm available to answer any questions you may have during the healing process and ensure you feel confident in caring for your new brows.

    5. Touch-up Appointment:

    • Approximately 6-8 weeks later, you return for a touch-up appointment to assess the healed results.

    • During this session, I fine-tune the brows, making any necessary adjustments or enhancements to perfect the shape and color.

    • This touch-up ensures your brows look fresh and vibrant, and I'm here to address any concerns or preferences you may have.

Throughout this entire process, my goal is to create beautifully defined and natural-looking brows that enhance your features and boost your confidence. Your satisfaction and comfort are my top priorities every step of the way.

  • The appointment usually takes about 4-4 1/2 hours.

  • Majority of clients experience minimal to no pain. A topical anesthetic is applied throughout the procedure for your comfort.

  • The longevity of ombre powder brows can vary depending on several factors:

    1. Skin Type:

    • Oily skin tends to break down pigment faster, potentially reducing the lifespan of ombre powder brows. Dry or normal skin types may retain the pigment longer.

    2. Aftercare:

    • Proper aftercare is essential for maximizing the longevity of ombre powder brows. Following the artist's instructions regarding cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection can help preserve the pigment and ensure optimal healing.

    3. Environmental Factors:

    • Exposure to sun, chlorine, saltwater, and certain skincare products can fade the pigment more quickly. Minimizing sun exposure and avoiding harsh chemicals on the brow area can help extend the lifespan of ombre powder brows.

    4. Skin Regeneration:

    • The natural turnover of skin cells can cause the pigment to fade over time. Ombre powder brows typically last anywhere from 1 to 3 years before requiring a touch-up to maintain their appearance.

    5. Touch-Up Sessions:

    • Periodic touch-up sessions are recommended to refresh and maintain the color and shape of ombre powder brows. These touch-ups help extend the lifespan of the brows and keep them looking fresh and vibrant. Clients are responsible for booking Touch Ups.

Overall, with proper care and maintenance, ombre powder brows can last for up to several years, providing long-lasting results and minimizing the need for daily brow makeup.
